Extraordinary Women in Business

Running a business in an uphill challenge, you wake up each day and you realised that the world’s weight is on your shoulder. Not to mention the people who are working with you, without you there would be no them, and vice versa. As a remarkable boss, you have the task to be quick in solving problems, apt to put out fires, make sure everyone knows what they are doing and happy doing so, and so forth. And there are days when you would feel like you are hitting a rock, a wall, a ceiling, and a million things that could hit the fan, would. These days are called a burn-out, and it’s natural, you are human.

These are the days that you look out for those who are with you, ahead of you, around you, as an inspiration, as a mentor, as a friend.

Sharing with you today are two brilliant initiatives set up by inspiring women for women who each is running their own business, profession and workshops.

I) Womentalktv.asia/

womentalk

Founded by former Miss Singapore, Eunice Olsen, Producer and Founder at House of Ou Studios, WomenTalkTv.Asia is an avenue for women to share their entrepreneurial journey. From artist to activist, to business owners and career professionals, this platform serves to share with you on why they do what they do, and hopefully bring a lil spark to your day and daily mission.

II) Extraordinarywomenoftoday.sg

Another initiative in conjunction with SG50, is ExtraordinaryWomenofToday.sg, a sister project to Street Smart University where you can enrol yourself in free online courses and watch tutorial on almost every subject of your interest. ExtraodinaryWomenofToday.sg is presently in beta, and will be having an official launch in October. So far having read their email snoops by Min, they are worth your couple of minutes. They come in four parts series, and are quite attention grabbing, so I do recommend that you subscribe to their newsletters to have early access to the 10-part video interview series.

These two sites are like your older sisters (sometimes younger, depends on who’s the wiser one). They give you a pat on a back once a while and give you an extra motivation when you need them.

Here’s to Monday, it’s drizzling out there but look on the brighter side of life, it’s much cooler when it rains.. xx
